Man I'm such a ... never mind.  Sappy me grew attached to the Rex Stewart character and would miss him if I were to phase out the character ...

As if my Spiritu mundi would be mad at me if I did!  On the other hand I went through great pains to find out a way where Shayera and Joey and be together while Rex is also part of the equation, Id' be crazy to go back now and just say "Just kidding folks, the kid wasn't meant to be!

So yeah, Rex - the Warhawk to be - will still have a part (perhaps small) in my stories ...
