2 DVD's down, 2 to Go!  Then we're looking at the Justice League Unlimited stuff! ;-)

Sigh, I am a bit bummed out though: the powers that be have indeed pulled the plug on the series; that finale in which Lex Luthor unwittingly saves the world by sharing some big secret (memory fails me right now) with Darksied was actually the Grand Finale ... :-(

Creatively speaking it does open up a wonderful opportunity for me though: in that final season while whether or not John and Shayera go ahead and have a child is left up in the air.

While there are mentions of Warhawk in "trips to the future", the last thing John Stewart had to say about the topic was that he would not be fate's puppet and that his place was with Mari (Vixen).

So my original idea that Warhawk would only have existed if Thanagar had not tried to destroy Earth was valid after all: the timeline changed as soon as it was discovered Hawkgirl had been spying for them.

Thus shattering the trust she and John shared.  He forgave her(as did the entire Justice League) but moved one with his life ... fell for Vixen.

I have the option of re-writing every story I've done so far and erase Rex ... and that would be a shame.  Or I could put some thought into a paradox story ...

The plight of a poor kid separated from his parents "for his own good" added some depth to the story lines, it also made writing one helluva lot more difficult.

If I knew I had more readers I'd put the question up to you: shall I keep Rex or just go the paradox way?

"Nurse Diana" is going well, and I'm making an effort not to turn it into a long story; but "The Wait" ... that one depends on whether or not Rex Stewart exists in the time line.

Stay tuned!
