Saw Superman Begins  with Rina yesterday!  Out of 5 stars I give it 4, casting a fresh face in the lead role was a great idea, and IMO Kevin Spacey is the ultimate Lex Luthor.

No spoilers here, but suffice it to say there's a plot twist that kept me thinking throughout the whole movie.

My only complaint here is ... if Superman was gone for 10 years, Superman and Lois should have looked older, to my eyes they looked much too young.

And somehow, the clash of old and modern that was made popular by Tim Burton in his first Batman movie has become old hat: at one point early in the movie, Rina asked me "Is this movie set in the 40's or what?" then said "Never mind" when we saw modern computers and flat screen TV's ...

But that's minor criticizm.  I half expected Christian Bale to have a small cameo appearance (they did mention Gotham at one point! ) but that was only wishful thinking!
