What a day ... what a headache! At least - count my blessings- my headache isn't a semi permanent marathon headache like the love of my life Rina has been having since Monday.

Heard back from my pal M.J. : the in-law visit went well, only he's been getting over a nasty bout of pneumonia and had to have a growth (I'm assuming a cyst) removed ...

Get well soon brother, us fellow dreamers have to stick together!   And I feel his pain: I myself had a cyst removed last month (those sutures are a bitch to deal with) and had to deal with a bout a pneumonia a long time ago, a consequence of catching strept ...

I got that shot too, and I was told the Pneumonia vaccine is a once in a lifetime thing.  So at least now I'm covered!

Still no clue of what I'm going to entitle my current story - from New Gotham Knights I'm almost tempted to call it "Tales of Three Couples" ...

I've recieved a nice compliment from my Cyberpal Doc Wilson.  You see, I had been working on a "free style" version of Pink Floyd's "Mother".

Being very self critical, I immidiately disliked the guitar strumming, feeling it was all over the place.  On the other hand I found my vocals to be spot on.  Rina told me she loved it (yes my love I know, I should listen to you more! ).  I PM'ed Doc a MP3 file of my version, to see what he thinks.  I mean, I can be quite hard on myself ...

His verdict: some of my best work yet!   He actually offered to sing backup and to ask one of our "heavy hitters" to collaborate and play lead guitar on it ... I'm honored, flattered, and honestly I needed some positive feedback!

I'm looking forward to turning that cover in to a collab ...

And I'm looking forward to "Batman & beer Friday" M.J. old pal!   Being that he's a cinematographer and I'm a "part time musician/writer" I find our gatherings quite interesting!

Time for more of those anagesics from my utility belt I think ...
