Why do I bother ... I often ask myself this question.  One of the message boards I belong to seems to bring me nothing but sarcastic comments ...

Agreed, not everybody reading this blog needs comment, but quoth Jim Gordon it can make you "feel like the lonliest man on earth"

Anyway, I do get visitors on this site,  and the few "cool site" comments and "the action is very visual, good description" comments and the "Reading your stories makes my lunch break go by faster" comments I get every once in a while do make me feel like continuing ...

The fanfic has given me a creative outlet that allowed me to focus all of those ideas, odd dreams and plot lines in my mind.  I enjoy it!

Anyway, speaking of plot lines, I think I've introduced an intersting romantic subplot in that story that was supposed to be a short (not anymore!) ... in the comic strip Cassandra Cain has given up the Batgirl Identity, a fact I've decided to ignore in my stories (creative license! ).

The "original Gotham Knights" were Batman, Robin (Dick Grayson) and Batgirl (Barbara Gordon).  Why not create a new team of Gotham Knights, including the new Robin (Tim Drake) the new Batgirl (Cassandra Cain), Oracle (Barbara's new alter ego) and add Reverend Justice to the mix?

And ... no harm in having history repeat itself within the Gotham Knights ... hint, hint, wink, wink, say no more!
