Greetings doodz & doodettes!  I've been busy as of late, saw a great show with the love of my life on Saturday night...if We Will Rock You is in your neck of the woods and you enjoy the music of Queen and light comedy (stage play signed by Ben Elton along with the members of Queen) don't you dare miss it, a splendid time is guaranteed!

For a while I'd been searching for a program that would allow me to generate the characters of my graphic novel project(s), regardless of my lack of talent for drawing and I've finally found one...

So thank you Mr X, while you're more into adult Comix end of the spectrum, said program can be used for my own purposes!  It was thanks to your web page that I've learned all about the Poser program!

I downloaded the demo version and the possibilities are quite impressive - one can modify the existing character templates (which is what I was looking for) or create characters from scratch, or even use pictures of models to determine the looks or your creations pretty amazing!  I could modify my own mug to give Joey Luca/Reverend Justice a face!

And each character fully posable...exactly what I need!

The price though...ouch.  So I've done a bit more digging, found that OEM versions are available, which are significantly cheaper...except none are available in Canada.  Then I looked in ebay and EUREKA!

I have obtained a full version of Poser 6 (good reviews of that program, good find!) for about $90.00. 

A significant saving, considering that retail it's worth about $250.00!  So I'm waiting impatiently to finally put faces and bodies on Reverend Justice, Blue Angel, Commisioner Randall, Detective Ortega, Lady Eden, the Caretaker and Sinful Sadie...of course there will be the learning curve to deal with.  But this is one software I'm indeed willing to learn...

Not that I wish to give Mr X's adult Comix web page free publicity (no offence, but his material's pretty hardcore), but the proof is in the pudding; his characters (Ms Americana & al) look absolutely amazing!
