Awrite!  G'day doodz & doodettes, seems that after April 11 this place became pretty damned quiet!  This morning was part 2 of my yearly physical - had to be up early (and on an empty stomach) for a battery of tests at the Lab that deals with my clinic:

Urine sample, bloodwork, ECG (or is that EKG?), barium swallow (to make sure my chronic GERD is indeed under control) ... caffeine withdrawal was giving me a massive headache and that barium went through me like a hot knife through butter...yuck...

After I stopped for breakfast at Tim Horton's I figured I'd save myself a trip and go to my regular Clinic and get my allergy shots out of the way.  Wanna talk zombie?  I was sooo dizzy when I got home!  And I still made it to work!

The ECG gave me an idea for another update on my work in progress (yeah my main protagonists get an ECG-or is that EKG?) my original description of the procedure was a bit off. 

And I figured that I'd better update the background of another character (the mastermind behind our Secret Guardians' gear) since I kept bringing up assembly'bots and maintenance 'bots, I figured it would be a logical idea to add a masters degree in Robotics for that character! ;)

More congrats to the love of my life Rina who started a new and better paying position yesterday, best wishes of recovery to my Mama who's bouncing back from a bout with (I'm assuming from her description) Belle's Palsy and a Happy Mother's Day to both Mama's (Rina's and mine)!

And a happy Mother's day also to Izumi, my buddy MJ's wife!

I think I'm 98% done with the revisions to The Secret Guardians and more random ideas are coming to me for the sequel in the woks (no title yet).  Now to find a proof-reader...
