Introduction to Me
- Since this is my first attempt at a web page, i guess some introductions may be necessary. I'm Bridget. I have a lot of nicknames. Sunflower, Brain, Bridgie, Rev, Burrito, Po, Oracle, Jerry, Charmer.. to name a few. My intials are BVD (yes, like the brand of underwear), so sometimes people think it is funny to torment me about that. It's not funny. Grrr. I still think my parents gave me those initials for their own personal enjoyment.
- I go to school at The University of Notre Dame . I'm a psych major there... i want to work with kids. I'm not exactly sure what i want to do yet. I'm open to suggestions... i just started my senior year, so i guess i'm running out of time to decide. I think i want to go to grad school on the east coast when i am done here, but don't hold me to that. Notre Dame is in Northern Indiana, by the way... a lot of people don't know that.
- I really don't have any hobbies per se, but i like to listen to music, write poetry every now and then, watch movies, watch Boy Meets World and Malcom in the Middle, play video games... you know, the normal college stuff. You'll learn more about what i do with my time as my page progresses. If you click on links to the little divisions of my pages, my personality will become a lot clearer... make sure to look for pictures as well as my ranting and raving. I just got into arts and crafts because i worked in a crafting store this summer. It's addictive.
- Oh yeah, i'm 20 now, a few weeks and i'll be 21. I'm a libra, born in October. I'm from Philadelphia, PA... in the city, not the suburbs. I have an interesting family, and even MORE interesting friends. I have a swimming pool in my back yard... i'll have to add pictures from my infamous pool parties sometime soon. I also used to have a Rottweiler named Precious, but she passed away this summer.
- I went to 12 years of Catholic school in Philly, and now i am at a Catholic college. Most of the people i know claim that Catholic schooling changes your views on religion. I definitely agree with them. If you want to hear my opinions on Catholicism or polyester skirts, just ask... i have a lot of experience with both.
- I taught myself html in a few hours so that i could make this page... what can i say, i was bored!
- I wear black all the time. No, i am neither psychotic nor suicidal... black is just so comfy. It's my favorite color. Not to mention the fact that it matches everything and i'll never have to spend money on bleach. My room at home is painted black... there are candles and posters and incense all over the place. I miss that room, i wish i were there right now. My parents don't care that i wear all black, so i don't know why it presents such a big problem for so many people. I'm sweet and lovable, i promise.
- Hmmm... i guess that covers the basics. I don't want to bore you yet, the fun has just begun...
