Follow I-25 south to Colorado Spings "Motor city". Look for South Nevada and Tejon exit Nevada is 115.
Go south on 115 from Colorado Springs towards Florence.
Turn west on HWY 50.
Go to Canon City.
Turn north RT. on Raynolds Ave. I think it is the second light. There's a Burger King catty corner on Raynolds.
Follow Raynolds, this dog legs left As Freemont Dr. Go one block and turn North Rt. on Field Ave.
Field ave. Will take you all the way there.
Field changes names whey you hit a "Y" in the road.
Bare Rt. on Red Canyon Rd.
Follow Red Canyon Rd. A good ways. Red Canyon, according to mapquest turns into Garden Park Rd.
Which eventually Turns into Shelf Road when it hits the BLM.
Follow this for miles.
It will turn into a dirt road.
Your getting close.
The dirt road will narrow just before going into the Shelf Road canyon. Stop and turn around Look for a gate.
You will see a gate. I'm going to have Pink baloons on the fence next to the gate. They will have NCF on them.
You may have to open the gate.
Go through the gate. Follow the dirt road. You will enter the Sandy Gulch Camp ground.
Bare right. follow till the end. That's where we are.
