Admission Application
Before completing the admission application form,
please study the enclosed information carefully. I urge you to consider the entire requirements
for graduation from each level, as well as communicating any questions or
concerns you have to the staff of the college.
The application must be typed or printed clearly in ink.
Social Security Number
Be sure to include your social security number in the
space provided. This is due to the
necessity to have this information available to provide to other institutions
of higher education, as many of the courses provided will transfer as life
learning credits.
Signature
Your admissions application will be considered
incomplete without your signature.
Application Fee
A non-refundable $25 application fee must accompany
your application. Please make the check
or money order payable to OakStar Ministries.
Letters of Recommendation
The following letters of recommendation must accompany
your application:
2 professional letters of recommendation. These should
be from individuals that have immediate knowledge of your training in the pagan
religions.
1 character letter of recommendation. This should be
from an individual, not related, who can attest to your leadership ability,
outside of the religious setting.
Personal Essay
To consider your application complete, you must
prepare a handwritten essay on the page provided. Limit your essay to the space provided. Only the essay contained in this area will be
considered.
Testing and grading
There will be periodic testing to assess the knowledge
attained, and numeric grades will be provided.
Three times a year, grades will be issued on a report card style with a
GPA based system, 4.0 scale. A minimum GPA of 2.8 is needed to progress to
the next level. A GPA of 3.4 is needed
for graduation of Priest/ess Levels 1, 2, and 3. If you have a recognized learning disability,
please notify the interviewer at the time of interview.
