| A Call -- To All |
| Jesus came. "In the beginning was the WORD, and the WORD was with God, and the WORD was God. He came into the world, and though the world was made through Him, The world did not recognize Him. He came to that which belonged to Him, and they who were His own did not receive Him and did not welcome Him. But to as many as did receive and welcome Him, He gave the authority to become the children of God, that is, to those who believe in His name, who are born...of God." (KJ,Amp. Mixed - italics & bold mine) The events which occurred on September 11th, 2001 have graphically displayed what someone who is devoid of God, the Truth, is capable of. Horrendous, uspeakable things can be in the heart of a man apart from God. What a loud shout from God comes forth in this - although it was not wrought in God, but Satan, God yet speaks to this generation through it. The world did not recognize Jesus when He came, but the world surely recognizes Satans's hand here. Even those who are not yet born of God, by the choice of their own will in receiving Jesus, know the acts done on Sept. 11th in our country were evil. Only the totally deceived do not. A wake-up call comes to all of us-- to those who do not know Him personally He says, Receive Jesus the Life and you will have eternal, forgiveness of all your sins, freedom from awful deception's power. to those who do know Him He says, Come out from among the evil doers of this world and give yourselves to the business of your Father and His Kingdom as you are called to do, for your Lord is coming and He longs to hear a good report from you as to how you have spent your time in this world concerning His affairs, His Kingdom among men. We, as Jesus, must be about the Father's business. If not us, then who? Have you shared the good news, the Gospel, with a hurting one you know? Have they heard of the wonderful plan of GOD to reconcile us to Himself, put our sins as far as the east is from the west, and give us power over all sin in Jesus Christ, His Son? "Peace to you! Just as the Father has sent Me forth, so I am sending you." John 20:21. Jesus' intent was that disciples would be made among all people of the earth who would tell the great Good News to all, and as many as receive will receive authority to become the sons of God. Will we tell? Will we share what we have with others? Or will we be content to be saved and let them die in their sins and not be reconciled to God? Do we love the world as God does, the One Who sent His Son to die for them? Someone told you! Father, we are guilty. Please forgive us for our selfishness and complacency. We need You, God. All men need You. Help us to share You with others, through our words, our actions, our lives. We'll praise You always and to God be all glory. Amen |
