Revcon Vacation

Summer of '83 we towed the Jeep to Silver lake Michigan. There is a 400 acre open area of sand dunes maintained by the state park, open for off road recreation. Initially, we started out with too much air in the tires - 15 pounds and struggled to go much of anywhere. We finally (on the advice of Sandy jeep Tours) lowered the pressure down to 8 lbs. Finally we could go anywhere and climb anything we wanted to. For those interested , I am running Bridgestone Revos 265/70/15 with no lift. Everything else is stock.  Had allot fun cruising around, seeing what we could climb. The kids loved being able to ride up the dunes in the car, walking over to the pedestrian area and tumbling town the hill on foot. below is the collection of photos of our trip. At the end of the second day, Janice finally drove.                                It's allot steeper than it looks.
