Favorite Airplane: Lockheed Martin F-22 Raptor
This plane is da shitz!  It looks hella futuristic and the smooth, sleek design is just plain awesome.  I don't know of any other planes that can supercruise without using afterburners, can you?  I didn't think so.  While the top speed attainable by the F-22 Raptor may not be the highest, it can beat almost any plane in a race (assuming that the distance isn't outside the Raptor's available gas reserves).
The F-22 Raptor keeps all of its missiles and bombs inside a chamber in its belly.  What this means is that there are no bombs and missiles on wing pylons to create more air drag against the plane, which can slow down the plane a lot.  Also, the plane just looks cleaner and better with the weapons inside (although I must say F-16's and F-15's fully loaded with weapons on their wings look pretty tight).
One of the greatest features on the Raptor is the material its skin is made out of.  It can absorb some radar waves or reflect them in a different direction making it dificult to spot it on an enemy radar.  The way the F-22 Raptor is designed also helps bounce radar waves in a different direction.  Basically, the F-22 has advanced stealth technology that the F-14, F-15, and F-16 don't have.  Speaking of the design; the design of the F-22 allows it to be super maneuverable and gives the pilot an overall smoother ride.  Special guiding flaps at the end of the engine (where the exhaust comes out) allows the Raptor to pull harder turns, making the turning radius a considerable amount shorter.
The bad thing is that this plane will cost the U.S. Government about $160 million dollars for every F-22 Raptor that it buys.  Hopefully the F-22 will become cheaper as more of them are produced, as a current F-16 will put back the military only about $12.5 million dollars (and the F-16 is no crappy plane, it's pretty damn awesome in its own right).  As far as I know, only 3 Raptors have been completely built, and there are 3-5 more being built as of this time.
