What is this about anyways?

Founded in 1995 by Reverend Syn, The Church of Syn started out as an unpopular, plain text page listed with AOL. In time, however, the rantings and ravings of our beloved Reverend made the page become somewhat of a "cult-classic". But now with upgrades in communications and a great deal of time, the Church of Syn formed Syn INC which is an organized group of people who contribute to the fight for our Internet and social rights.

Oh, ok! But what is the 'Church of Syn'?

��The Church of Syn is not easy to describe, but easy to understand. This is the description from our debut pamphlet in August of 1997

"We at the Church of Syn realise how difficult it can be to get along with people with so much sexual, racial, and religous tension between everyone. The Church of Syn does not believe in either of those three things. Yes, we do believe in a higher force, but we like to think of it as what Carl Sagan referred to it as "The Reason". It could be a star, an actual being, or the kid who flips hamburgers at the McDonalds.

Don't look at us like a bunch of Anti-Christian heathens, just heavy thinkers. We arent against any God, or any belief, just your religions. It's the religions that corrupt belief. And as Reverend Syn always says:
"Accept God as you want, not as you're told."
