| The Jones Family Reunion was a huge success! |
| Hello Family Member! What a terrific time everyone had at the Jones Family reunion! Some of the family that arrived the day before the reunion got together on a harbor cruise in downtown Baltimore and had a wonderful time getting to know one another. The reunion itself was held on Saturday, August 6th, 2005 at the Moose Lodge in Laurel Maryland. The day was filled with over 100 relatives reuniting or meeting for the first time, sharing old memories and making new ones. Horace and Maggie would be proud! As each person walked in they were greeted by Missy who handed out name tags and directed them over to our family historiains. Matt and Donna Mae took a quick photo of each person and then their full name typed directly into a computer to keep our family tree up to date. |

| Family photos from the past were displayed on the walls, along with a HUGE chart of our family tree so that everyone could see how they are related to each other. To raise funds, everyone brought something to include in a Silent Auction and also purchased pull-tab game tickets and 50/50 raffle tickets. The menu included grilled hamburgers and hotdogs, along with coldcuts, meatballs, macaroni salad, potato salad, coleslaw, and Bonnie's famous spaghetti salad. There were enough desserts to satisfy everyones sweet tooth and soft drinks to wash it all down. We also had a D.J. to get the party moving! And the award goes to... ~First to register: Samantha Lawson - Sam also won $50 in the Pull-Tab game! ~The Youngest: Lily Arrajj ~The Eldest: Robert Thompson ~Married the Longest: Charlotte & Dick Seibert and Bill and Lydia Jones ~Came the Furthest: from Tucson Arizona Donald & Denise Boule and William & Deana Arnett ~Best Uncle: Bo Goad ~Cutest Couple: Debra and JR Tumulak ~Family Historians: Shirley Murray & Donna Hollingsworth ~For creating this Website: Kim Sargent ~Winner of the 50/50 raffle: Denise Boule Our colorful reunion! When planning for the reunion, we thought it would be fun for each main family group to design and wear matching tee-shirts. Following are the family names and the color tee-shirt their family wore to the reunion: Jones - Blue or White Murray - Purple Sargent - Green Thomson - Black DuFour - Red Goad - Gray Hollingsworth/Lawson - Maroon Everyone seemed to have a good time and I would say the reunion was a huge success!
