Rules

1) Trust is very important in this circle! All Flame Keepers must be dedicated to it, and must keep up with their shifts & the schedules each month. You are expected to be active during your shift and in the circle itself (via the mailing list). Before joining, please consider whether you are able to make this commitment or not.

2) Each month, a new calander of shifts will be mailed out/posted on the mailing list. Shifts will remain the same through out each month, however there will no doubt be changes - as members join, or if members need their shifts changed for the specific month. Please check out the calander each month! The calander will be mailed/posted a few days before the beginning of each new month.

3) If a member is going away on vacation or has some sort of engagement that will prevent him/her from tending on their regular shift - please email Morr (at the main email address of the circle) and let her know at least a week before the new calander for the specific month you need your shift altared.

4) Shifts are 24 hour shifts - from sundown to sundown, as the Celtic calandar counts the daily cycle. Each member should tend to their candle for as long as they can during their shift. Members are not expected to tend to it for the entire 24 hour period, however, as much as possible is expected and would be much appreciated.

5) After tending has begun, please email Morr (at the circle's main email) and let her know you are tending to the flame - This is in order to keep tabs that all members are keeping up with their schedule & with their shifts and are keeping the cycle alive. Again - Trust is very important. Please make sure that you are on track with the monthly schedule and are aware of your shifts. But most of all - Tend to your candle when its your time!. It is much more important that you let us know ahead of time that you wont be able to tend during your usual shift, or more over - if you have forgotten and havent tended at all, but admited this - rather then if you dont let us know you cannot tend, or if you lie about it.
