Coming attractions
...or something anyway. I know it's been a while since I've blogged. I've never been the best at it. I've actually have books scattered all over the place of past diary attempts. Just never been my thing.
Anyway, I thought I'd give those who regularly check the site something to look for, and provide a referrence list for myself, of coming attractions. Minor and major edits to the site that are currently in mind. Feel free to comment and add what you think the site may need.
1- A new roster page layout. Yea. I know. I just got done updating everybody's page to the current lay out. But with Tashal's promotion to Sackholder, we're looking at wanting to create an easy way to referrenece where people are at the five story lines.
2- A missions page. This would be an alternative to the new roster page layout. Currently, I haven't decided which idea I like more so I'm tinkering w/ the roster page template and the idea of a whole new page in my mind. Which ever is deemed easier in my mind (since I'm the one coding it) will become the new page.
3- A gallery page. Just a place for people to post entertaining screenshots they've taken during their time on FFXI. It'll probably start w/ a lot of mine and require....
4- A new form page. Okay, actually there are a few things that need done to the forms. The Character form needs to be updated to include a place for mules and mission status. Also, I'd like to get that endgame LS info form set up and the sack request page up. But I'm pretty sure the former will be used more.
5- Revamp the links page. It's just bleh and I don't like it.
6- Finish modifying the craft page. I still haven't quite decided what I want to do about the member's aspect of that page. I'd -like- to have a quick referrence to people's skill levels... but I may not get that.
7- A new calander's page. I've been wanting to do this one for a while but stalled out on implimentation. I'd like to make it so people could pick different months and be able to *gasp* look ahead at upcoming events. Sadly, making it actually work may be harder than I though.
8- Move the clocks to the nav bar. I just think it'd look cool to have them integrated into there.
9- Actually register as a PoL Community Site. Because it'd get us a couple cool things that I can't code and don't want to steal. And it'd be a feather in my cap, because this site is totally all about me.... >.> <.< >.> Alright, not really but it is my play thing. ^.^
... Okay. I think that's it. There seems like enough there to keep me busy well past the holidays. *sighs* One day... One day I might actually be content w/ the site layout... Okay. That's probably a dirty lie. ^.^
