I've heard people say "I don't know what I would do if that happened to me," but I think I know the answer. It's all a matter of perspective. If I were faced with the fact that I were to die in a month, all my current problems would be far less significant. It looks like people are too pessimistic, not just about life-and-death situations, but they get down on just the simplest things. "I can't find the remote, life sucks," "It's cold and snowing outside, life sucks." Even teachers complain about their jobs - about what they teach. My advice is to lighten up. It could be a lot worse.
