I bought this game for 145 bucks, all banged and beat up at auction. After a bit of reconstruction (It had a giant hole in the front..) it looks pretty good. On the tech side, nothing was really wrong with it except a broken sound controller.
Popeye is a little like a cross between Donkey kong and the Atari 2600 game Kaboom. Playing Popeye you catch hearts from Olive Oil while avoiding Bluto and other evil forces... once all Olive's hearts are collected, you move onto the next level.
Popeye is a fun game, if a bit limited (there are only 3 levels, that repeat over and over..) in playability. Still its a welcome additon to my collection. |
