GeXCube ATI Radeon 9600XT 256MB DDR1, 128-Bit, AGP 4x/8x Platinum Version
By: Wilson Liang
I had just recently bought a Radeon 9600XT by GeXcube (called Gecube) at www.Komusa.com for $155.00 (shipping's free!), which was a great value for such a great card, the company is located in Taiwan so, the price is very low. I bought this quite recently on September 9, 2004.

I will just show some pictures and what the box contains, just talk about it. AND I WILL BENCHMARK THIS CARD REAL SOON...
The front cover of the box. The backside.
All the stuff that was in the box, including: The Graphics Card, 1 CD Video Card Driver, DVI-VGA Converter, Free Condition Zero Game, Free full Yager DVD Game, PowerDVD 5 Software, S-Video Connector Cable, Video Card Manual. In it's anti-static bag.
The right side of the card. Unlike it's cousin the 9600Pro, the new 9600XT doesn't need an external power connector which is better in a sense if you want to save some power wattage.
The backside of this card, the heatsink is being held down by this big puppy, it's just a metal clip to hold the heatsink in place, which I found could've been taken out or could've even been smaller, but this is what makes the card so heavy.
The heatsink and the fan/cooler, made of alluminum. The heatsink is pretty big and bulky, which is more of a good thing than a bad thing, it covers the memory chips completely which is also a plus. The fan, looks pretty powerful and looks like it can really cool the card, and again, I really want to get my desktop back so I can benchmark this card. But overall the heatsink and the fan seems quite nice. But I won't know until I actually get to see it in action.
The left side of the card. It has VGA Analog, DVI Digital, and S-Video inputs. And each display will have their own refresh rate and resolution. Which is also a good thing.
