MY MOST TO THE POINT REVIEW
If you like games with very impressive graphics, beautifully detailed textures, and a amazing true-to-life sound, than look no further, Doom 3 has all of this! ... ... and a multiplayer.
Pros:
- Graphics set a new standard in enthusiastic gaming and also for the mainstream, it can be enjoyed in any resolution and is still impressive to look at with all details turned all the way down!
+ Very Impressive sound
+ Very scary atmosphere
+ Creatures are very real and scary!
+ Hell is a beautiful place!
Cons:
- The NPC characters and textures are at times bland
- The storyline is predictable and monsters get predictable too, as they spawn behind you almost all the time
- Not a great variety of weapons
- Some of the model's face animation are just plain bad
Now the Multi-Player part, this part is fun when you have 4 people in a LAN and playing each other on a Friday night. Fun but...
Pros:
- Well, graphics again?
- Sound, ...
Cons:
- 4 players only? Hopefully the mod community will help fix this problem...
- Some frequent lags from time to time
- Nothing you've never seen before in a FPS multiplayer shooter
- Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, ... zzzzzzz
- This Multi-Player part seemed rushed and quickly patched
Well my overall grade considering the amazing graphics is:
7.7 Good, but lacks depth and storyline that can please gamers. Worthy of playing just for the amazing graphics and amazing atmospheric feeling.
