Yes, another World War II themed, squad based first person shooter for the console and PC, it looks like another Medal of Honor or Call of Duty right? Wrong, for those of you who was ridding on your assumptions, your all dead wrong!
The game takes place in the French countryside during and after the events of D-Day. You play as Sgt. Matt Baker, a paratrooper of the 502nd airborne regiment who, at the last minute, decided that fate has chosen him to become his squad's leader right before their plane would be hit by oncoming anti-air guns below. You go into the mind of Matt Baker and soon enough are thrown into World War II. This is probably the most historically accurateand authentic game of 2005, the guys at Gearbox took images from France and studied it spec by spec, inch by inch, and have digitally recreated it to an astounding measure.

The game's mix of squad-based combat and good FPS makes it truely a game that you'll remember for years to come, although this has been done better in the past, for better or for worst, it's a good twist. It's like Full Spectrum Warrior's Squad Tactics but you get to hold guns!
