The Timex Sinclair 2068 was a Super Spectrum issued in the US. It improved over the rubber key Speccy by adding two joystick ports, an improved keyboard and a cartridge slot. The downside was that changes to the ROM made it incompatible with Spectrum software. Due to the delay in implementing these improvments Timex lost its foothold in the US and the 2068 was never a big seller.
