Okay, well this is my diary from Eclipse (and I am not talking about the thing where the sun gets covered by the moon! It was a Buffy/Angel convention I attended June 7th-9th 2002 *so much as a peep of geek/sci-fi nerd type comments and I will hunt YOU down and whoop yo ass bitch!*) at the Paragon Hotel in London. This is my review only, and does not reflect the opinion of anybody else *well it might, but for legal reasons it doesn't!* The event was run by the lovely people of Sector14 to whom I owe many thanks they were amazing!
Well, my first day/night at Eclipse has been interesting! Whilst waiting in the reg. line I started talking to a girl named Kirsty. She has introduced me to a few people she knows from past conventions.
When I got to the party, they were all in the cocktail party (for tickets 150 and under� I am #845) and so I just hung out with Kirsty and danced a bit.
Too much alcohol (2 bacardi breezers *I know I am a lightweight*) combined with lack of food made me very dizzy and so decided to head back to the Hilton.
I spotted George Hertzberg (Adam in BtVS) and Robin Sachs (Ethan Rayne in BtVS) as I was leaving, but I din�t go over and say hello as I could barely see straight and didn�t want to make a fool of myself. I managed to hail a cab and got back safely. I am still kicking myself that I didn�t say hello to the guests because George is Gorgeous!!! More tomorrow� I need sleep!
