We got to the club at 7:30 exactly, which it turns out was actually when the doors opened. I managed to sell the third ticket for face value thankfully :) so that extra money payed for out drinks and chips (fries) which we bought on the way home lol.
When we got inside we went all the way down to the stage but the only room left was at the side. But it was better than being at the back lol. Although the whole venue is pretty small so anywhere wouldn't of been too bad. But we were right up front and i got a great view :) and awesome pics too... I'm getting them developed shortly and hopefully onto a disk so i can show y'all :)
Aiet, now onto the actual show... The open act was some chick called Suzi Hug. Here first song sounded pretty cool but by the 2nd and 3rd song it was pretty clear she only knew like 3chords and the songs all sounded kinda samey. She did like 5 or 6 songs and then got off the stage lol. As soon as she left the whole lower floor section in front of the stage that had been sitting down throughout her set stood up in anticipation for Jason to arrive. I spotted him standing like 5 feet behind me talking to some people but i as too shy to go up and say hey. Go me! :/
So anywhoo he finally gets on stage and we all go crazy. The set was unbelievable and they played for 2hours straight! I don't know the names of most of his songs as i am pretty new to his music and all, but he played "the Remedy", "No stopping us", "I'll do anything", "you and i both", "unfold" and finished with "the boy is gone" They also played lil bits of other people's songs, I think i have this list in the right order but forgive me if one or two r switched...

He is an absolutely amazing performer, he is sooo confident up on stage and has a great rappor with the audience. His vocal harmonies and the range of his voice is extraordinary. And the speed he can move his lips... ahh makes the mind boggle... aiet, it makes MY mind boggle... my bro says i need help... i think i just need to get laid LMAO but enough about that. The show was amazing and i am soooo glad i didn't miss it.
The set finished at 11pm and i told my bro we had to hang around until they came out so we could try and get autographs lol. I went to the bathroom and when i came out my bro was chatting to some peeps i had been talking to earlier in the nite and they were holding CDs. I asked where i could buy one and them pointed me in the direction. Anywhoo i get to the stand and buy one and then one of the girls comes up behind me and is saying that Jason and the bongo guy and bassest were coming out to sign autographs. So we all form a queue (thats a line) and waited. I got my CD signed by them all as well as my ticket (as did my bro) and then we each got a pic with Jason :) I told him how great his music was and that i really enjoyed the show. He pulled this real funny face in the pic with my bro, i was cracking up.
Neways after that I went to get my coat from the cloakroom and cos i hadn't got the bongo guy's autogrpah on my CD i asked my bro to run down and get it for me. I was waiting at the top of the stairs waiting for my bro. This was literally right above where they were signing and i was looking down watching everything and i musta had a cheesy grin on my face cos the Bongo guy looked up and gave me a cheesy smile back which made me smile more lol. Then i saw my bro ask him to sign the thing and chat to him a bit and then i went downstairs and met up with him and we left.
It was such an awesome night! I just wish my friends coulda been with me. Especially Emmy cos i know she is a big fan too...
Anywhoo i think that's all the interesting stuff that happened, we just came home after that and went to bed.
Ohhhh... Funny joke that the bongo guy told during the show...
"There's two muffin's in an oven and the first muffins turns to the other and goes 'Damn it's hot in here' and the other one goes 'Holy shit a talking muffin!"
