[Common RPG Short form]
   
The following is a collection of abbreviations of terms used commonly in the RPG and Archives:

RET - Real Earth Time: The normal passage of time in real life.  Years are often
listed this way to indicate that it refers to the year on our Earth (i.e. in the
RPG it could be a different year)

RPT - Role-play Time: The passage of time in the RPG.  This is used to tell the
difference between days irl and in the RPG as they are usually out of synch with
each other.

YT - YUME Time: See above

IRL - In Real Life: This is to indicate something that is real as opposed to
role-played.  Also used is the abbreviation RL or Real Life.

OT - Off Topic: Not pertaining to the RPG plotline.

OOC - Out of Character: Something stated by the author as opposed to the
character.  It can also describe uncharacteristic behaviour on the part of a
character.

Mundane - "normal".  Usually used to describe a subject.  This means that the
subject is a regular class taught without any special connotations.  This term
basically means "Earth-like" or average.
