Physical Description:

With porcelain skin, pale lips, jade green eyes, and blond hair, Ulysses looks like an old-fashioned, fragile porcelain doll. He usually wears collared shirts, with a bowtie or tie, and slacks. He is only 5'3" tall, slender, and frail looking. Though he lived in the tropics, his skin never tanned or burned.

Personality:

Ulysses is a very polite and soft-spoken boy who keeps to himself, but is open to new friendships. He is always well-mannered and tries to be as inoffensive as possible. He has a sweet, shy smile that people instinctively like. He is slightly shy, but will become more outspoken with people that he knows. He has a slight crush on the psychics professor, but doesn't consciously realise it. He often blushes inexplicably around the professor.

Background History:

Ever since he was young he has been loved by water, although at the time he didn't realise it. He could always swim in the roughest weather and never got lost in the sea, no matter how far he swam out. His parents are very rich, but he is not spoiled. He never had many friends because everyone was scared of his affinity to water. When he reached the age of 11, his psychic powers developed suddenly and he could feel the love water had for him. He then learned how his strength was magnified in water. He kept this secret until he was 12 and met his first good friend. He was out swimming when he met a girl, only she wasn't a human, she was a killer whale changeling. She didn't speak at first, but gradually they learned to communicate with each other through simple words, signs, and the water. She has waist length, purple hair, sea green eyes, and is mostly covered with her killer whale skin. She taught him to use his Water Armour and then the water gave him Coil of Heart, which was a gift. After this, he decided to tell his parents, who were worried about the amount of time he was spending in the sea. Once they learned of his powers and the girl, they accepted it and helped maintain his secret. At 13, he used Coil of Heart for the first time to save a ship from crashing on the rocks. However, he has no clue how he actually used Coil. Since then, he has used Coil five more times, though each time he cannot remember how he used it. As of four months ago, he suddenly became attuned to human emotions. Unable to block them out, he spent days secluded with his friend on the beach. His frantic parents got in touch with YUME and requested their aid. Professor Iduhlee was sent out and he was able to teach Ulysses to block the emotions. Iduhlee stayed with Ulysses long enough to teach him how to keep his empathic powers in check. Iduhlee then recommended that Ulysses be brought to YUME to learn how to control and refine his powers. His parents agreed and a special seawater tank was built for Ulysses' killer whale changeling friend so that she could be with him and help him with his powers.

Strengths:

1. Psychic Power - telekinesis and empathy
2. Power with Swim - swimming abilities strong and even able to breath underwater, can control naval vehicles like boats, kayaks, submarines and such. Only has superhuman power in the water, useless on land.

Weaknesses:

Is afraid of insects.

Equipment:

1. Water Armour - when he is surrounded by enough water, it covers him and becomes solid enough to prevent most damage.
2. Coil of Heart - what looks like a coil of jade green rope around his waist. Coil of Heart has some mysterious properties that seem to change all the time. No one is ever certain what Coil of Heart does.

Moves:

1. Easily controls water with his mind to become any lethal weapon of his choosing.
2. Uses the strength water provides him in water to fight.
3. Heart Thrust - uses his empathy to send strong emotions to the enemy and confuse them.
