Personality:

Possesses advanced understanding of engineering and mechanics, but doesn't show off. Enjoys arts and creativity. Dislikes it when people rely on violence or exploitation to make themselves feel better about life. Feels sorry for people who can't carry on an intelligent conversation, hates people that think they can carry on an intelligent conversation when they clearly can't.

Background History:

Corey was born in Paradise Inn, a city within the boundaries of Mt. Rainer National Park in Washington. As a boy, he lived near Mt. Rainer and dreamed of big things. From an early age he displayed extraordinary skills in engineering and electronics. He did, and still does, love to make things with Lego, K'nex, and Construx sets. Corey built his first full mech at the age of 17. It was made completely within his home, having acquired parts from hardware stores. It had no weapons, no shielding, and no radar. It was 15' tall walker and had an open cabin for him to sit in. Unfortunately, locals didn't know about his project and the army was called in to stop in what was believed to be a terrorist mech. The army opened fire and a large portion of the mech blew up. Corey covered his face with his arms and barely survived. The flames from the explosion scorched his arms badly. After he spent a year in the hospital, the CIA offered him a full-time job as a designer. Corey refused and, after finishing high school, he began his own company, MechaTech Corporation. MechaTech's main product is site defence mechs designed to protect against air strikes, missile attacks, and ground assaults. MTC's largest customer is the Ministry of Defence. Since the future of MTC is secure, Corey now feels he can teach others about mecha.

Equipment:

1. Mr. Neuborne, a robot. Looks human but is incredibly skinny. Wears a white lab coat and carries a clipboard. Performs basic functions.(Think of a Star Wars protocol droid with a much more human body)
2. The unique mecha pilot suit mentioned in 'appearance'.
3. Stormguard - One of Corey's favourite mechs. Stormguard is 20' tall and painted dark green. It has two walking legs, no flight or submersible capabilities. It is not designed to attack, and works best when responding to an attack. Two arms are attached to a clear pill-shaped torso where all of the controls are located.

Moves [Stormguard's weapons systems]:

1. Impact cannon - carried around the 'hips', it fires a huge missile that is not explosive. Instead the missiles attempt to knock over and weigh down the mech so that it cannot move. The missiles attach to the mecha's hull, pulling it down because of the weight of the missile.
2. Wrist Laser - each arm possesses an energy weapon.
3. Dyapthalitasite Grenades - Corey designed these more for rescue than offence. Dyapthalitasite is an inert gas. When combined with oxygen it instantly transforms a rust-coloured gel. The goal of Dyapthalitasite grenades is to have the gas absorb all of the oxygen before the oxygen can burn. Corey fires a grenade at an enemy mech if it is about to go critical. Many times it saves the pilot's life by removing the oxygen that would contribute to the explosion. It is terrible however for a person to be exposed to Dyapthalitasite. Oxygen all the way in the lungs, and eventually blood if given enough time, becomes the rust-coloured gel. The grenade creates a spherical cloud 40' in diameter.
