Finding people with super powers

Physical Description:

September is tall, slim, and beautiful. She has waist length, straight blond hair, which she keeps up, and blue eyes. She usually wears long skirts (at least knee length, usually longer) with long sleeved shirts. She has a lot of money and dresses very formally, with style and taste.

Personality:

September is a very cheerful, positive woman, although she does have a very serious, solemn side to her that few see. She is a very thoughtful person and does love her adopted son very much.

Background History:

Little is known about September's past. She has an adopted son who has great super powers. She helps people, usually the police, solve mysteries, such as hauntings and killings done by those with super powers. There is a police officer who is in love with her, but won't admit it. She does not love him back, however. Her son once saved her from a killer who was after blue-eyed blondes and she saved him twice in return; once from another boy with super powers, the other time from a gang who wanted to make him one of their members. She has also stopped a haunting by conjuring up another ghost whom the first ghost was searching for.

Strengths:

September, although lacking super powers herself, is able to sense the power in others (perhaps something akin to a type of ki?). She usually aids police in finding felons who have these powers and use them to kill people.

Gets kidnapped a lot
