Wardrobe: 
Noroke mostly likes to dress in bright colours, as it represents her cheerful
nature. She is often seen in cream-coloured pants and a brightly coloured
blouse, which she wears over a shirt. She also wears plaid skirts, which fall to
just above the knee, and white, short-sleeved blouses. 


Marks/Scars: 
As a very sheltered child, she does not have very many scars, except the few
burn marks that never healed. Also, as a Nozomi sorceress, she has a green star
under her left eye, which is only visible when she casts spells. This symbol
depicts the rare power that nearly destroyed the Satoru line.


Education: 
Noroke attended a private high school because her parents felt that public
high schools wouldn't provide the education needed to succeed in life. Because
she was intelligent and learned things very quickly, she graduated two years
early at the age of 15. She was accepted into Tokyo University, a very
prestigious school in Japan, but, when the attacks on her family worsened, she
was forced to enrol in YUME instead.

Her only known living relative, besides her immediate family, is her uncle. Her
parents and Kagayaku, her older sister, still live in Japan, while her uncle
chose to live in America.

Hobbies:
Noroke enjoys reading books on just about everything, especially sorcery and
anything that will help her improve her skills. She also enjoys writing short stories and poetry. Her love for tennis began when she started high school and
was invited to join the tennis club. In addition, learning seems to be an
enjoyment for her as well.


Motivations: 
She wishes to make her parents proud of her and does everything she can to be
successful. Thinking about her family's lives in danger also gives her 
motivation to do well.


Goals: 
One of her major goals is to become strong enough to defeat the Satoru line so
they will not endanger her family anymore. Her other goal, once the first one is
achieved, is to become a famous writer. 


Bad Habits/Vices:
She is incredibly shy and feels uncomfortable around large groups of people,
though she plans to rid herself of this fear. Noroke is also naïve and a bit too
trusting with those she knows. 


Pet Peeves/Gripes:
Not many things irritate her, but those who are selfish and inconsiderate make
her feel frustrated and angry.


Things That Make Uncomfortable or Embarrass:
Talking to a large group of people makes Noroke feel extremely uncomfortable
because of her shyness, but she will do this if she must.

Very kind and considerate to others, she is also understanding, making her a
good listener, and forgiving, even when it seem impossible.

Can be quite shy and withdrawn; is a little too trusting and naïve when it comes

Carried: 
A necklace known as the Luck Amulet, which is a small, round, royal-blue gem
surrounded by tiny crystals. The blue crystal glows whenever Noroke is in
danger, also bringing help to the wearer when needed.


Owned: 
A magical staff carved by her sister, Kagayaku, the staff possesses a magic of
its own and has a spell to ward off evil carved upon it. She also owns several
books on Sorcery and Psychic Talents; some of which she has brought to the
university to aid her in her studies.


Familiars/Treasures (special items): 
The staff and amulet are most dear to her, as they are daily reminders of her
family. 


[Character History]

Noroke's troubles started several centuries ago by her powerful ancestors, the
Nozomi family. They were one of the most powerful sorcerers during that time, a
period of history which was ruled by magic.  This period was made dark by the
many lives that were lost, due to power-hungry sorcerers, and, as a consequence,
it was erased from history permanently. The most feared and evil sorcerer at the
time was Yoshimo Satoru. Yoshimo and his family plagued the lands, murdering
those who had powerful magic and absorbing their powers. However, he was not
satisfied and searched for something greater. He soon heard about the Nozomi
family's great magic and knew he must possess that power.

The two families became great enemies and fought many battles; neither side was
victor as both were nearly equal in power. However, after a few years had past,
the Nozomi magic was beginning to increase in strength. This gave them an
advantage over the Satoru family, whose magic powers never grew. One dismal day
brought with it a great battle, a battle, which changed the lives of both
families forever. With their magic, the Nozomi family defeated Yoshimo's younger
brother, and his soul departed from Earth for eternity. Enraged, Yoshimo vowed
that he would avenge his brother's death by destroying the Nozomi line and
gaining all their magic.

That fateful day began the many centuries of struggle which followed for the
Nozomi line, as the Satoru's continued trying to fulfil Yoshimo's vow. For this
reason, Noroke Nozomi was sent to YUME to protect herself, her family and
perhaps to destroy the Satoru line in order to finally bring the peace the
Nozomi's desire.
