OOC: I can't think of much to post right now as I'm pretty damn tired ^^; So, umm, I'll just post this...
IC:
Darkwind paced the hallways and corridors of the school through the night, an almost silent bulk of darkness moving in the shadows. He couldn't sleep at all and just drifted and drifted aimlessly, not wanting to think too much, preferring to do what training he might do on his own.
Then he passed by one of the dorms, the grief which was within projecting clearly even over anything else that might have been on Darkwind's mind. He blocked it out. There were so many secrets in this school, concealing everything like the shadows concealed the kyree's form...and usually just as silent. When Darkwind heard movement he sprang out of the way of the door, out of sight of anyone that might have been watching.
Someone fled the dorm and Darkwind watched her go, not doing anything except watching. He lay down there, having been distracted enough that he no longer had to pace. Something was wrong here, but it was not his business to interfere. He would wait there until the student came back to make sure nothing happened. If she wasn't back, then he might need to re-evaluate his course of action or, then again, maybe not.

As the rays of the next morning's sun slowly filtered into the hallway, dispersing the shadows which had served so well as cover for Skyshadow's familiar, said familiar was nowhere to be seen.
