Noroke wasn’t sure what it was exactly, but something about Jin gave her the idea to invite him to come along with her to the gardens. "Umm, well if you don’t have anything to do, would you like to come to the gardens with me?" she asked, shyly.
Jin blinked, rubbed the back of his head and smiled nervously. "Um.... Ah....sure! I'd love to...."
With a bright smile, Noroke led Jin towards the East Wing, where the gardens were located. "I love roses and I heard there was a rose garden here, so that’s where we’re heading. Roses are so beautiful... when I was little, we used to have several rose bushes running along our pathway. My mom used to put a vase of fresh roses on the dining table every morning," she smiled at the memory. Shaking her head, she sighed, "I miss that house very much... but I should be happy that I still have my family. Some people don’t have even that." Noroke blushed as she realized she had been babbling, "I’m sorry, I usually don’t go on like this..." |
