A friend! -- Earagail

Earagail is startled at the message that suddenly appeared in his mind. He wonders if someone sent it or if he is just hearing the voice of someone nearby. Irritated, he flattens his earfins. He dislikes this sensitivity to sounds he has on this planet. He returns to his room and glances at the bed, wondering if he can sleep on something other than that uncomfortable looking thing. Suddenly there is a knock on the outer door. Earagail flattens his earfins further at the loud sounds. He hurries over to the door and opens it. His earfins widen in surprised pleasure.
"Hello Andrew!" he says as the long haired boy stands at the door. "You came! You are my friend!"
Excitedly, Earagail pulls Andrew into the room and closes the door.
"I'm pleased that you came." Earagail says, leading Andrew into the bedroom. "Would you like to begin?"
