I waved as she left. I went through my entrance to my office, gathered my things and left. Iliana had left but I left her a note.
'I have been released and am fine now. I am heading home to rest. I will be back tommorrow.

I found a cane in my closet. My dad's old cane. I used it to help me walk a bit better. I was still a bit dazed that I needed the help walking.
Thinking of my father I thought back to the watch. I must find it. A family heirloom like that I can't leave alone and not knowning of its whereabouts. What would father think? I shook my head, closed the door and shut off the lights. |
