Andrew knew that he was probably over-reacting to the situation. After all, when Terry had kissed his hand it was unusual, but not very different from the protocol he had been taught upon arriving here, the same one which he had demonstrated in ethics class that morning at Yorick's request. Yorick, after all, hadn't even batted an eyelash in response so why should he have treated Terry's action as anything different?
Well, for one thing there was the matter of...whatever the tall boy had called him, some foreign term he'd never heard of. He would have sighed, except that he didn't want to be heard doing so. Andrew remembered thinking how impulsive Terry and Kurama's actions in math class the previous day had been and now, though it was only a day later, it seemed that that first observation was true, at least in Terry's case. He felt that unpredictability quite acutely in the face of the...the....Why couldn't he just stop thinking about /that/?!?!
Andrew didn't say anything as he led the way towards the meeting room, too absorbed in his own thoughts, analysing over and over again what could have happened, what could happen, and what was yet to happen.
Upon seeing everyone gathered for the meeting he felt more at ease, knowing that he was in charge here. Part of the problem undoubtedly was that all through the day he had followed what other people told him or reacted to their actions as opposed to acting independently. Here that was different. He motioned Terry to a vacant seat next to where he took his own, at the head of the table with Maisy.
"I apologies for my late arrival, but upon Maisy's suggestion I invited Terry to attend this meeting, given that I'm sure Thursday's special event is on most of your minds." His tone was much more serious than usual as he drew a neatly organised folder from seemingly out of nowhere.
"Fredrick, it's your turn to take the minutes,' Andrew said before getting the meeting underway, 'Now, on to our first matter of business..."
OOC: I don't think I'll write about what goes on at these meetings, unless I think of something ground-breaking. I really don't think we need the detail, just an intro and an ending post if that's alright with everyone.
Oh, and by the way, Fredrick? Random name for a random SC member...*sweatdrop* Don't worry, I'll get everything sorted out. |
