Noroke had carefully placed the scroll into her bag along with the thick Sorcery book she always studied out of. Glancing at the young boy, who was the owner of the walking chest, she noted to herself to somehow get the nerves to ask to borrow the book the teacher had given him. Sighing quietly to herself, she brushed stray strands of hair back and tightened the tiny butterfly clip which held part of her hair back.
Gathering her belongings she headed to the door, mentally organizing the Sorcery lecture into neat sections of information for later reference. She had less studying to do than she expected, which was good as she wanted time to get to know the campus area. Noroke had heard that there were beautiful gardens here that would be a perfect place to help her relax and uncoil herself from the daily stresses of being a student.
Her thoughts were interrupted as someone bumped into her from behind. Turning around more out of curiousity than annoyance, she found herself looking into dark brown eyes. She noticed that it was a boy a little bit older than she was and that he was staring at her.
"Umm... hi," she answered back shyly, blushing brightly. "My name's Noroke... and you are?" |
