Duo and the boy stood on the mat.
"I'm Duo." Duo said cheerfully.
"Mervin." the boy replied.
"Mervin? Your name is Mervin?" Duo asked, fighting back a snicker.
"Yes. Get on with it!" Mervin ordered angrily.
"Okay...Mervin." Duo agreed with a small snicker.
Mervin growled and flung himself at Duo, who easily evaded the taller boy. Duo then kicked Mervin in the posterior as he flew by, pushing him even further off the mat. Mervin turned, snarling, and charged Duo again. He swung wildly and Duo blocked easily and even got a good punch in. Mervin swung again and Duo dodged.
"Come on Mervin. You can do better than that. I'm just a sissy." Duo taunted, knowing that getting Mervin angry was the key to winning this fight.
True enough, Mervin went for Duo's throat and Duo just ducked and punched Mervin in the solar plexus. The boy dropped like a stone, gasping for air. Duo got up and walked to another corner of the room.
"Give up?" he asked.
Mervin managed to stagger back up and sneered.
"Never!" he said vehemently.
He made another charge at Duo. The boy with the braid just waited for the right moment and then kicked. Foot connected with jaw and Mervin flew backwards, crashing into the mat and unconsciousness. Duo frowned.
"Darn it all, now what do I do?" he muttered.
OOC: Yeah, yeah, I know, it's from "Men in Tights" so sue me. I thought it was funny and we all know that "Men in Tights" belongs to suchandsuch company. haha!
