Terry and Kurama's heads turn as they hear the yells.
"Leena." Terry realises.
The two exchange a glance and then bolt towards the door. Terry sprints far ahead of Kurama down the hallway and sees the open door. Terry dashes into the room and pauses at the sight before him.
"Oh no." he says softly.
He kneels down next to Leena and Tianna. He reaches out and touches Leena's shoulder.
"Leena." he says softly.
Leena faces him with pain-blinded eyes. He scoots close to her and hugs her gently. His other hand is on Tianna's chest, using some of his power to keep her breathing.
"Kurama! Get the vet!" Terry orders as Kurama enters the room.
Kurama nods and dashes out the door.
"It's okay Leena love." Terry says quietly as Leena cries in his chest, her arms still around Tianna.
He murmurs words of comfort while hugging her. He eyes Tianna's condition and frowns. He doesn't want to use his power on her because he doesn't know what will happen to her, but he doesn't want her to die. He continues to feed her just enough power to keep her alive and rocks Leena gently. |
