The Magic of War -Andrew

Andrew had sat quietly through the meditation and had used it to try and build some partitions to keep thoughts of his predicament from interfering with the way he performed in class.

"I was witness to a mage war once and, though I did not participate, much of my previous education was based around such an event. I think it could be said that I'm experienced in magic battles, but I have not had much of a chance to put it into practice...and I'm afraid the scope of that experience quite limited given how different magic was where I came from."

/Things change, though. One of these days one of these students could find themselves locked in combat with me...then that will be the test of how much experience has taught me/ he thought, his eyes a little distant.

He wondered what this teacher was planning...the sudden change from peace and healing to battle making him wonder if there was something to the lesson he was failing to see. He wished Darkwind had been with him.

OOC: I apologise for my lack of posting, but I, as well as Sioned, have had exams for the past week.

Just to let everyone know, the Archives will lose their Holiday appearance at the end of January and will return with a bit of a new layout (Don't expect anything too fancy, my Internet availability is still sketchy) so don't worry if their a bit hard to access or something seems amiss. There are likely to be some broken links during the construction process. Thanks for your understanding ^_^v

P.S. any new updates will only appear after the Holiday version is taken down because it's not worth my while to update that version as well when it will only be in existence for a few more days.
