Duo and Leena entered the classroom and stared at the obstacle course. Then Duo noticed Bak and Othras on the far end of the room, conversing quietly.
"Wow! Tall!" he said, surprised. "Wow! Ice! It's a floating block of ice! That's cool!"
Leena smirked at his enthusiasm. Duo then trotted over to say hello to Zelig and Xavier, who were sitting in the corner. The class filled quickly and then Bak approached the students.
"Good day." she said, not meaning it pleasantly but meaning it as a meaningless pleasantry. "Today we are going to fight within the obstacle course I have set up. The purpose is to see which students fight well when they are surrounded by objects. I realise that some of you do not spar well unless it is in a setting that is familiar so I am creating a more common fighting arena for students to fight in so that I may see who excels at what type of fighting. Please find a partner or two to spar with and then I shall have the first five groups spar in the obstacle course while the rest of the class does another activity. You may begin."
The students began looking for partners. Zelig and Xavier stuck together, no surprise there. Duo glanced at Leena hopefully.
"You want to spar with me?" he asked. "I'm not very good, but I'll try hard."
