Andrew frowned slightly, studying the lines of the symbol on the floor. He was afraid that he'd jeopardised the professor's opinion of him and he wasn't at all sure Jonas had understood what he'd meant. He had wanted to save the professor some effort by telling him something he may not have known, but now he felt that Jonas had received his comments as intended criticism.
But he knew that he disagreed on the matter of Morgaine causing the downfall of Arthur, but he knew that the sources he had been introduced to were probably biased anyway.
When the class was asked whether anyone knew any healing spells Andrew was hesitant in responding. He had so much on his mind right now and he really wasn't sure if he could handle this right now. No, he would handle it, but whether he would do it with the necessary tact and grace such an accomplishment warranted. This day had been horrible on several accounts. He would have sighed, but given the way things had gone so far that would also have been interpreted badly, most likely.
He raised his hand and said quite evenly, "I know a moderate amount of healing magic." He would have added "sir" at the end, but he was trying not to do too badly on his first day with this professor. |
