Jonas glanced at Floogster. "Oh, I'm sorry. They're some of the greatest magic users this world ever saw." He walked up to the boy and sit in front of him. "Merlin was the wizard who took King Arthur, the legendary king, to the throne of Camelot. Long story, I'll tell you later. Morgana was King Arthur's sister and a powerful witch who caused the fall of the King of Camelot. Another long story. And Baba Yaga... Well, she was the most powerful witch ever in Russia, and she cast fear and terror on the commoner's hearts for centuries."
Jonas smiled. "They're all long gone, don't be afraid of them. However they caused a lot of trouble in their times, and I don't want to cause others like them to appear."
Jonas got up and looked everyone's faces. He noticed the lack of enthusiasm, the same enthusiasm they had when they arrived. "So, I think nobody here wants any more introductions?" When some people nodded, the substitute teacher sighed. "Ok, so the first one to make fun of me for mistaking names here will get my staff to the head, understood? Good."
Jonas walked up to his backpack and searched inside of it. He pulled out a book. "Now, class, let's start with the most elementary spells of this course... Healing spells. Does anyone here know healing spells already?" |
