As the last students made it to her class Yuka walked along the rows of desks, which were arranged that way because the first few classes would be seat work, before getting on to more practical applications. She placed a hand-drawn blueprint on each desk she passed, each one differing slightly from the last. She'd spent yesterday's lunch hour making these up, but she hadn't had the time during class yesterday to get on with this second stage of testing. Once each student had a blueprint on his or her desk she actually told them what they were for.

"On each of your desks you'll see and, hopefully, recognise that there is a diagram of some sort of explosive device. Your task is to take the original design and, using the materials you will find scattered in various parts of the classroom, construct a variant of it. Afterward, you will give said explosive to any classmate of your choice. The explosive will be set, but only a mild charge will be used because this early in the year it's easy to make mistakes. The goal of this? Make your variation of the original design as complicated and difficult to disarm as you can think of. It will tell me a)how much prior knowledge and skill you have in constructing explosives, b)how creative you are when it comes to blowing stuff up, and c)how well you can react under pressure and how good you are at saving your own skin," she smiled cheerily, if a little too excitedly, at them all. Some people looked worried, but others looked ready and willing for the challenge.

"You know what? Scratch what I said earlier. The stakes are upped a little bit...if you see an X marked in black in the corner of your diagram then you have my permission to use add an extra amount of oomph to your bomb, but nothing too harsh, alright? Don't let anyone know whether or not you have that X. Remember, most bombs operate on a timer so you'll want to disarm them as quickly as possible! Now, get to work!"

OOC: All player run-characters have an X on their diagram, very few random students have one and the rest of them do not. Go ahead and blow students up, I have Zohn's permission to do this. *evil laugh* Well, in a Gunsmithing class one would expect to get injured a little, wouldn't one?
