Bak and Othras were preparing the classroom for today. Tables, chairs, and other objects were scattered, seemingly randomly, around the room. Othras eyed the obstacle course.
"It is only the second day, Cú Ceat, are you sure the students are ready for this?" she asked.
"Some will be." Bak replied. "And some students fight better in this kind of situation. You will see Othras. Not everyone is good at sparring."
She looked up as someone appeared in the doorway.
"Who is it?" she asked.
The person came closer, it was Quentin.
"What is it Quentin?" she asked.
"The Doc wanted me to tell you that Rei Nokoto will be unable to attend class. She lost a fight." Quentin replied.
"Ah. I see. Thank you." Bak said.
Quentin nodded and left after throwing an incredulous glance at the obstacle course.

Sizer placed the weapons carefully in their respective areas. She smirked, liking her idea, especially the carpet of swords. The bed of axeheads was pretty good too. The curtain of chains were all prepared as well. She grinned and flew up to her favourite perch on the rafters. She wanted to see the students' reactions to her little lesson.
------------
Bwoshih set up the classroom carefully. The different shaped and sized objects were in the centre of the room. Pens and papers were placed on some desks, emotion cards were placed on the others. He was satisfied with his preparations and sat down on his desk. He was about to draw out his harp when he noticed someone in the doorway. He smiled.
"Come in Ulysses." he said.
The small boy entered the room.
"How are you?" he asked.
"I'm fine." Ulysses replied.
"And how is Killer?"
"She is bored. Can we take her to the seaside sometime?" Ulysses asked.
"Of course we can." Bwoshih assured.
He hopped off his desk and crossed the room to sling his arm around Ulysses shoulders. He gestured to the room.
"What do you think?" he asked.
Ulysses peered at the items around the room.
"I think this looks easy." he replied, and then blushed, afraid that he had insulted Bwoshih.
The silver haired professor laughed.
"Yes, it does look easy, doesn't it." he agreed. "It's supposed to look that way. But just you wait until you see what you have to DO with these things."
Ulysses nodded.
"It's a trick, to make the students think that the test is easy." he realised.
"Yes. And what a trick it is. But I can't tell you or you'd know too much." Bwoshih said. "Come, have a seat on the desk. Would you like to hear a song?"
Ulysses nodded shyly as he sat on Bwoshih's desk. Bwoshih settled down beside Ulysses and pulled out his harp. Slowly he started to play a lively song.
