OOC: Er, I'm a little confused. Is her name Hakaru or Hikaru? I thought it was spelled Hikaru in the Archives and previous posts. Could someone let me know please? Thanks.

Xavier turned to the girl who had tapped his shoulder and regarded her with haunted eyes.
"It's lunch right now." he said quietly before returning to his almost finished food.
The girl looked a little upset by the reply so Zelig turned to her.
"Next class is your Major class." he explained.
"Zelig." Xavier said softly, interrupting the girl as she was about to reply.
Zelig glanced at his companion and nodded briefly.
"Excuse us, we have to go. It was nice meeting you." he said as he gathered up his tray and followed Xavier to return their trays.
The two slowly headed for their class.
"You should try and talk to people, Xavier." Zelig said softly.
"That was always your job." Xavier said with a ghost of a smile.
Zelig smiled as well.
"Yes, it was, wasn't it. I always did more talking than you did." he said. "I had forgotten."
"That's because you never thought that that was what you were doing." Xavier said.
Zelig glanced over at Xavier and laughed softly. He had finally made a joke. This was progress. |
