Ananda was very bored. Cresta wouldn't let her move, wouldn't let her leave, and she wouldn't let any of her visitors stay for very long. And Zohn wasn't being too talkative, but considering everything that had happened, she didn't blame him.
But still, she was bored.
So, partially just to see if she could and partially because there wasn't anything better to do, she decided that some magik was in order. If anything, she would say it was practise for an illusion later that she would send to her Sorcery class informing them of the situation.
*If I start out with little things....* Ananda thought and made a pair of scissors hover and begin to dance by chanting the right incantation to herself. That seemed to work fine, so she laid the scissors back down on the table and focused her energy on an ice ball, which she had floating several inches above her hand before she lost her train of thought and the ball went flying across the room, knocking a funny looking lamp thingy over on it's way.
"Oops....hehehe" she muttered under her breath and tried to look innocent. "That didn't quite go as planned, but at least it wasn't the scissors that went flying." |
