Whri Mhaol found herself enjoying her lunch with Burn. The winged girl was very entertaining, even if her words were a little hard to understand sometime. They talked of the sun and desert and Whri Mhaol felt a kinship developing between them. Mercury sounded like a wonderful place to Whri Mhaol and she hoped that maybe she would be able to visit it one day. But she dashed that hope right away. She could not leave her people. Even now, being here, it was hard not to want to return. But she couldn't, not until she was free. |
