"Well, they're trying to convince me it wasn't a train, but I don't quite believe them." Ananda winked at Jonas, but grew serious as his expression did not change. "A psychic attack. You know what those tend to do to me. Zohn went through the same thing."

She indicated her legs. "Must have caused some nerve damage. I can't feel anything. Well, a little pressure, but that's it. Don't worry about it. If anything I'll take the day off and go visit my big brother." She smiled at him, hoping that he would believe her. In reality, Ananda was scared to death.
