Trini dusted her legs as she got up. She tucked the box under a hole and covered it with a rock.
"That was fun, and fast. Now to return so no one suspects anything." She morphed back into her school clothes and ran towards the school from her 'hideaway'.

"Trini! Where are you!" Ray had gotten anxious and was outside shouting to the forest for her daughter. He wasn't much of the dad he should be he knew, but he had to try and find her. If any trouble occured and she was involved, he'd never forgive himself.
The lockdown had just lifted as he heard the metal shutters lift. He was worried, like as if something was out of balance.
"I hope it's just a fire alarm..." He muttered. "Trini!"
That's when a tap on his shoulder made him turn on the spot.
"Trini! Where were you after class young lady?"
"Oh, I felt sick. I had to excuse myself without disturbing the class. I'm better now with some fresh air. Must have been nerves of being new here." Ray gave a sigh of relief.
'What a fool' Trini thought. "I'm going for lunch now though. I'll see you later.
Ray was still not too sure. He decided to let it fly for now, but would try harder to keep an eye on his daughter. He settled down and re-entered the school.

Ray had just entered when he saw Mai.
"Ray, where have you been? Someone attacked Zohn and Ananda. I saw the emergency crew take Zohn away and I heard from them that Ananda was hurt as well by some unknown attack...hey!" Ray rushed pass her and ran for the emergency wing. 'Damn it, I knew something was wrong! Oh, why'd I leave you Ananda! And Zohn, who could have hurt them both?!'

Down in the cafeteria Trinity was grabbing a salad from the bar when she saw that guy who snuck into the principal's office. Luckily she had a father who was a founder and not big on security. She had read a few interesting profiles on some students she felt she needed to know. That was Voer, wasn't it?
She slinked over to his vacant table and sat down, winking to Voer. He said nothing for a moment, but looked up.
"Hello there. I;m Trinity Canell, Ray's daughter. I saw you alone here and thought I'd join you. Can we chat for a sec?" |
