Yuka nodded seriously and said, "That's a point that should never be forgotten. Great civilisations have always been built upon the ruins of others; Heroes are made through not only those lives they save, but also by those lives they take; History is about endings as well as beginnings. It's a cycle, really, the story of the Earth and probably every other civilisation mirrors that in their own way. It's a cycle of birth, death, and rebirth. I don't know about the rest of you, but I think that's pretty interesting and next class I'll talk to you about that. I hope it sounds good to you all, but I think this will sound ever better: Time's flown and if you look at the clock you'll see that the gong's about to sound! I had a great time talking to you all and you'll look forward to your next class with me, right? If you answer negatively I'll put you in detention! Just kidding, of course. Now scat before I have to make good on that threat!" She laughed light-heartedly, in spite of the seriousness with which she had begun her concluding statements and headed out the door, as eager as the other students to find food.
